After a dismal first six seasons in the majors, the 1969 Mets pulled off one of the most miraculous upsets in World Series history—a feat their fans would rank higher than putting a man on the moon.

Fifteen years later the Mets came within one strike of losing the World Series in game six when New Yorkers witnessed yet another miracle and the team went on to capture the title in seven games.

Our Amazin’s pennant pays tribute to a franchise that embraces being the underdog and never counts itself out. The design features the ball club’s original uniform lettering style, and tried and true orange and blue color scheme.

DETAILS

This vintage-style pennant measures 12” x 20” and is constructed with washed 10 oz duck canvas, tea-stained twill tape and all-purpose thread. Each one is sewn, screen painted and aged by hand for a homespun, timeworn look that ensures no two pennants are alike.
