In 1906, the Chicago White Sox batted a meager .230 with seven home runs all season but still went on to win the World Series, beating the crosstown rival Cubs. The ensuing decade and a half featured two more AL pennants and a second World Series championship, along with an infamous betting scandal that landed eight players on the banned-from-baseball list. Nevertheless, the organization persisted.
Our Chisox pennant humbly celebrates those early days of baseball greatness on Chicago’s South Side, with a design inspired by the team’s uniforms of the time.
